And they went awry...
So I had planned on going to the Guard room on Friday night, but after the Vulcan Fire Truck Bar Hop, I decided I had had enough fun for the evening, so I went home and crawled into bed. The bar hop was a lot of fun... always nice when you have men hitting on you, makes you feel like you actually look good!
I was, until later Friday evening, planning on doing the run, but figured it would be cold, I would have to pay $23 to participate, and there was nobody that wanted to run with me, so I slept in instead, and read for most of the morning. The afternoon was spent doing laundry and other domestic chores, but the good news is, I have pretty much all of the laundry done, so we should be set until after we get back from the cruise.
Saturday evening, I was also planning on going to the Guard Room, and I met some folks out for dinner prior to going. Then Eric showed up, sans his admittance pin, and we decided that at 9:30 we were old and would rather go home and crawl into bed, and spend some quality time toghether, rather than in a group of drinking people.
Sunday did actually happen as I planned: Got up and ran with Corky at 8:30am. I really enjoyed myself, even if we did not run as much as I probably would have liked. Got home, showered, then went off to the Landmark Center for the last day of Winter Carnival merchandise sales, and to listen to the Army music program. The band was really good! Then it was to home, to do more laundry, and to do some repairs on some clothing that I am bringing on the crusie. And to watch the Superbowl. I also managed to paint my nails (fingers AND toes) and did not smudge one. I am now sporting "red hot" as the color on my digits. Eric thought it was very nice.
Saturday was kind of a bust as far as food went, but Sunday I stayed within my points (no flex!) I think it helped that I did not go anywhere for the game, and resisted temptation that way. I was down 3.6#'s when I weighed in on Friday. I just need to keep it going - Soon I will be able to fit into my smaller clothes!
That's about the excitement. I was domestic girl this weekend. Next weekend, I will be vacation girl!
ta!
